Clifford Lavelle Walter, age 91 and a proud Navy Veteran passed away August 6, 2024 at his home in Swartz, LA. Clifford was born in Goodwill, LA on June 24, 1933. A private family service will be held at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction and care of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Monroe.
Clifford is survived by his stepson, Jeremy Waters and wife, Tiffany. They, along with step grandson, Gavin Waters, cared for Clifford in his senior years and during his illness. Clifford enjoyed attending and cheering Gavin on as he played baseball games. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing throughout his life.
As a U.S. Navy Veteran, Clifford told many stories about his time in the Korean War. He served on the USS BRUSH and received the Good Conduct Medal and China Service Medal.
He was an employee of Ryan Chevrolet as an automotive mechanic for many years.
