Funeral services for Clenard Dumas,74, of Dubach, LA. will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in Ruston, LA. with Rev. Scott Jennings officiating.  Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery in Simsboro, LA.   Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 10:00 am till 11.00 am at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in Ruston, LA.

Clenard was born on June 9, 1949, in Ruston, LA., and died on May 2, 2024, in Ruston, LA.

Clenard worked for Davison Trucking for 30 years as Truck Driver, Master Mechanic, and Service Manager. He was also very involved with his boy’s ball playing as well as their biggest fan. Clenard was also an avid gardener.

He was preceded in Death by his parents, Roy Clenard and Nellie Dumas and a sister Patricia Wright.

Clenard is survived by his 4 sons, Kevin Dumas of Hosston, LA., Brandon Dumas of Orlando, FL., Jonathon Dumas and wife Cindy of Dubach, LA., and Lance Dumas of Dubach, LA.:14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.   Sisters Elaine Collier of Liberty, TX, Sandra McCullin of Farmerville, LA, and Glenda Johnson of Shreveport, LA. as well as numerous nieces and nephews and other family and friends.

Pallbearers are Triston Dumas, Cody Sanderson, Buddy Burnham, Perry Mathis, James Laird, Daniel Laird, John McClendon, and Christopher Stuckey
