Funeral services for Claude Goodnite will held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Cypress Baptist Church. Rev. Jeff May will officiate. Interment will follow Cypress Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:30 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home ~ West Monroe.
Claude was born on March 14, 1942 in Tippo, Mississippi and passed away November 26, 2020 in West Monroe, Louisiana. He was a longtime member of Cypress Baptist Church. Claude retired as a pipeline project engineer and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He loved his family, loved to tell stories, and he loved to work on his “little projects”. Claude is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Norine Moss Goodnite; daughter, Nicole Goodnite.
Claude is survived by his son, Claude Goodnite, II and wife Roxanne; granddaughters, Dusti Doyle and husband Casey, Katie Goodnite and fiancé Jason Lucero, and Taylor Goodnite; grandsons, Cameron Wynn and Dean Goodnite; seven great-grandchildren; his bestfriend, Harley the Boxer; many other cherished family and friends.
