I am in Baton Rouge to help my dad out for awhile (Uncle Dickie to Chris et al!) and thought I would look up Chris and hopefully visit and reconnect with him and the whole Forbito clan. Finding out that he recently passed was not expected at all. My heart is broken for my wonderful cousin. I remember running the roads with him and Angel and having so much fun. I remember watching HBO movies with him and Carl White with no sound but rather listen to albums (before CDs!)! I have nothing but wonderful memories of Chris and am saddened that he has crossed over so soon. My Love and Prayers to everyone, Amber

Chris was a great guy and a fabulous cook. (He is the first person I ever knew who put hard boiled eggs in spaghetti sauce.) He loved Ryan and his grandchildren and he remained friends with Molly forever. I'll miss him and his gentle ways. Rest in peace, dear Chris.

My heart goes out to the entire Forbito family. Chris was a loving husband to me for 15 years and remained my dear friend up to the end. He was a devoted father to our son Ryan and truly adored his 3 grandchildren. He will be sorely missed.
Father John Kennedy left a message on February 17, 2023:
It pains me not to gather with you all. My spirit will be one with each of you and Chris. Forty eight year long friendship, with all that entails , not bad at all. Pray for us too, please. Love and prayers, Father John Kennedy
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

My love, prayers, and condolences to the Forbito family and friends. 2 Corinthians 5:8 reminds us, as believing people of faith, that “We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.”

I've first met Chris at Jimmie Lee's funeral, my 1st cousin through Aunt Thelma Grant;s side. I'm so very sorry to read of his passing. His faith and love of family was inherited from his mother and father. My condolences to the family.
