Chris was just always special to me. I thought of him so often. I even remember asking to have our picture made together, when he was just a few days old. I always felt he could have fit right in with the Gunsmoke movies. He was so tall and so handsome that he just looked like a handsome cowboy to me. I'll remember him always as being handsome, tall and tough. I have prayed for all his family and have put it in Gods hands. Love to all his family and to all he touched.

Dwight and Paula, We were so shocked and saddened to read the online edition of the News Star and learn of the untimely death of Chris. We are so very sorry. You know how much we cared for Chris during the 4 years we lived across the road from you. We loved having him come over and hang out. He was always a joy, and I loved to tease him about "don't talk so much, Chris"...when I could barely get three words out of him! We have wondered about him many times since we moved 9 years ago to Texas and said we were going to try to get in touch if and when we get back for a long visit. We regret not being able to do that. I know that he had health problems for such a long time, and now he is healthy again. We are praying for peace and comfort for all of you in the days ahead. I know you all have great memories that will give you joy. Our heartfelt sympathy is with all of you. Love, Bob and Jane

Our prayers are with you and yours Aunt Paula! I SO wish I had some magic words to make it all better for you. I know that God is good, no matter what--of course it's really hard to believe when you lose someone close to you, but it IS true. I pray your family finds peace and serenity during the trying days ahead. If nothing else, we can TRY to be thankful that Chris is healthy now for all eternity in heaven with Grammaw. I can just picture Grammaw shaking her finger at him trying to get on to him for coming too early! Much, much love Aunt Paula!!!
