Christine Wainwright, 94, passed away on November 25, 2024, in West Monroe, Louisiana. She was born on November 7, 1930, to James Oliver Ramsey and Oda Ruth Bryan Ramsey. Christine retired from A.T. & T., originally Bellsouth, after many years of loyal service. Christine was always ready for a road trip, especially if it involved going to the casino. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Wainwright, Sr.; grandson, Jerry LeBlanc; and two brothers.
Christine is survived by her daughters, Deborah Kay Gerken, Rebecca Gay Gorum, and Mary Elise Gala; grandchildren, Krisi Key, Dennis LeBlanc, Raeni McGrew, and Clayton Anderson; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; along with other extended family and friends.
