Ronnie Parks officiating with interment will following under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe, LA.Mrs. Thomas was born on July 18, 1926 in Spencer, LA and passed away on August 24, 2014 in Monroe, LA. She loved her family, loved to sing and play the piano and loved her church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawton Thomas, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.She is survived by her sister, Inez Peterson, 2 step-daughters, Icealee Murray and Lynn Raymond; 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until the time of service at 4:00 PM at Mulhearn Memorial Park.
