She will always hold a special place in my heart as she stood by me during a very difficult time in my life, covering me and my family in prayer, love and encouragement. I thank God for allowing me the privilege of having her as my friend and to experience a taste of His love expressed through her well-lived life and our friendship. It is obvious that you had wonderful Christian parents and I know you were a blessing to them. From reading the obituary, I can tell that your mother lived a full life serving God and that now she has joined your father in heaven. We pray for peace and comfort in the days ahead. Shortly before Barbara's passing in June of 2012, she and I were reminiscing about our child hood about how challenging but rewarding life was even to a preschooler. Barbara remembered how Mrs. Bailey would stop and visit our mother as she was on her way to or from the Gray's house. Small gestures can have a profound effect on the recipient and never be known by the one who gave it but never forgotten by the receiver..
