I worked with Charlie at the News Star for many years. During this time of loss, I pray for the family that the Lord give you strength and comfort. I remember when the News Star would have Mardi Gras in the Parade and this one particular float we did had a paper mâché 10 Ft alligator on it that Charlie and Ruby Nell showed us how to do. It was fabulous. He was a very talented person with his hands.

Charlie: I just want to thank you for being a friend. August 1973 you didn't even know me but helped me get my first job. You have helped me so many times, worked on my old car, even printed napkins for my wedding. Charlie, I will miss you.

We are here for you if you need to text or call. We will always remember him as a part of our family. He really loved all of you and missed you.
