Funeral Services for Charles Wayne Terry, age 56, will be Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at First Baptist Church of Ruston, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home – Ruston.  Visitation will be March 22, 2023, from 1:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M.

Charles Wayne Terry was born October 8, 1966, in New Orleans, LA.  He passed from this life on March 16, 2023.

In March , 1982, he married Patty Avant and became a lifelong member of that family.  Chuck and Patty had two sons, Chuckie & Westley.  In 1983, Charles went to work for Rogers Manufacturing & discovered a true passion for the Truss Industry.  He worked at Rogers until May, 2002, when he founded Quality Truss in Ruston, Louisiana.  Quality Truss has always been not only Charles’ vocation but his avocation.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Sidney Wayne Terry and Peggy Jean Chandler; grandmother, Arlene Cherry; siblings, Tathia Terry, and Clint Wall; uncles, Wesley Terry and Gary Terry; and his beloved Magnum.

He is survived by his children, Charles W. Terry, Jr. (Kelly), John Westley Terry (Heather) and Collin Smith; grandchildren, Abigail Terry Palmer (Nick), Colton Wayne Terry, Noah Wyatt Terry, Anslei Mechelle Terry, Auri Ruth Terry; Special Family: Donna Stockton, Ruth Avant, Patty Avant Barmore; siblings, Donna Terry, Katrena Bordelon (Matt), Brandy Pontiff; uncle, Hardy J. Terry;  Peanut; and other close friends and family.
