Charles Russell “Russ” Mann, 74, born on August 13, 1948, passed away on February 18, 2023 in Farmerville, LA.  Visitation will be Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Community Baptist Church in Farmerville, with funeral services to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Antwain Braggs officiating.  Interment will be at Mt. Ararat Cemetery in Downsville, Louisiana under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Farmerville.

Russ was a member of Mt. Ararat Baptist Church.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He also served in the U.S. Navy and was a retired Inspector for the USDA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred and Lehman Mann and sister, Patricia Duet.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Rosemary G. Mann of Farmerville; daughters, Jalanna Jones (Bo) and Jennifer Mann of Downsville; son, John Mann (Buffie) of Downsville; step-children, Genaa Nation, Sergerio Gipson, and Nicholas Gipson of Farmerville; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Terri Antley (Lonnie) and Beverly Redden (Jimmy) of Downsville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
