Charles M. Charlie Mac McIntire A memorial service for Charles McIntire, age 69, will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel. Charlie Mac was born on July 22, 1943 in Payette, Idaho and passed away June 30, 2013 at Christus Highland Medical Center in Shreveport following a brief illness. He is preceded in death by his parents, Doyle and BurnDean Whitlock McIntire and father-in-law, Glen E. Hunt. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Donna Hunt McIntire; daughters, Lisa M. Joyner and husband Sam of Ruston, LA; Michelle McIntire of Ruston, LA; grandchildren, Megan J. Cruse and husband Jared of Haughton, LA; Morgan Joyner of Ruston, LA; great grandchildren, Makenzie, and soon new arrival, Chase of Haughton, LA; Joey of Monroe, LA; his sister, Margie Weeks of Ruston, LA and his brother, Billy McIntire and wife Minnie of Myrtle Bach, SC; sisters-in-law and husbands; Teressa and Joe Kearce of Omega, GA; Beverly and Woody Hurst of Moultrie, GA; Vicki and Ricky McKellar of Scooterville, GA; Jennifer and Jeff Adams of Ruston, LA; mother-in-law, Rose Cranford Hunt; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Charlie Mac served the Ruston community for 27 years for the Ruston Police Dept. from patrolman to Interim Chief of Police. He also served his country in the United States Air Force from 1962 – 2003 in both active and reserve duty positions. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of North Louisiana Medical Center and Christus Highland Medical Center in Shreveport, LA.
