A person from yesteryear that will remain in our heart's forever. Lizzie Mae was my GOD mother in that she assisted my mother in bringing me into this world. Lizzie Mae and Ed were life long friends of my parents and us. I never remember returning to Jackson Parish without visiting, having dinner, playing sometime of game, or in general just having fun. Wonderful parents, who loved their son, Charles. May GOD wrap an arm of love around each of U and extend comfort, peace and healing during this difficult moment.

Sending my heartfelt sympathy. Charles and I were childhood friends. His mother (Lizzie Mae) and my mother (Ina Donaldson) were best friends all of their lives so Charles and I spent a lot of days together. One of our favorite things to do was sit at their player piano, put a roll in it and pretend we were playing the piano. So many sweet precious memories. Charles also signed as a witness on our marriage certificate (Dec 11, 1948). He and my deceased husband (Bill Dingler) worked on genealogy together in later years via e-mail.May you have God’s peace knowing that he is in Heaven with your mother. Blessings, Maylene
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

Eddie and Lisa, I'm so sorry to hear about Charles. I know its been many years since we've seen each other. All of us are older and our children and grandchildren are grown. If you can please email me after things are a little slower.
