Calcote, 79, of Farmerville, LA, will be held Monday, November 28, 2011 at 10:00 A.M at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville. Visitation will be at 9:00 A.M. to service time. Graveside service will be at 2:00 P.M. at Lynn Cemetery in Archibald, LA, under direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home. Charles was born on March 27, 1932 in Catchings, MS., and passed away on November 25, 2011 in Farmerville, LA. He was raised in Epps, LA, and was a past assistant county agent in Union Parish and a retired agriculture teacher from Downsville High School and also served on the Union Parish School Board. He attended Louisiana State University and graduated from Northeast Louisiana University. He received his master's degree and plus thirty from Louisiana Tech University. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Mary Frances Hanson Calcote of Farmerville, Louisiana; daughters, Cheryl Robinson and husband E.B. of Shreveport, Louisiana; Donna Aulds and husband Mike of Sterlington, Louisiana, his beloved grandchildren; Jared and wife Rachel Aulds, Dee Anne Aulds, and Fran, Holly, and Anna Robinson; newborn great grandson, Reed Michael Aulds; sister, Nell Simpson of Delhi, Louisiana and brother, Vernon Calcote and wife Billie Sue of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas.
