Funeral service for Catherine Goatley, 83, of Eros will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, December 5, 2022 at St. Paschal Catholic Church with Father Jerry Daigle officiating. Interment will follow at St. Paschal Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
Catherine was married to Charles for 61 years. She loved the Lord and her family. She was a registered nurse for 62 years, and her hobbies were shopping, dancing and reading. She was preceded in death by her parents James Z. and Minnie R. Downs and a brother James Z. Downs.
Catherine is survived by her husband Charles Edward Goatley; children Cynthia Ann Bailey and Edward Wayne Goatley and wife Dianne; 4 grandchildren Christopher Goatley, Stefanie Sant, Stacey Goatley and Brandy Goatley; 8 great-grandchildren.
A special thanks to Dianne Goatley who was there for us throughout her illness, and Louisiana Hospice and Palliative Care.
