Carolyn Jane Moore Hudson, 78, born October 21,1946 and passed away suddenly on December 17, 2024.

Carolyn was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee to parents, William Bill Moore and Irene Hill Moore. She was one of 8 children.

Carolyn moved to Monroe, Louisiana in 1968. She worked for South Central Bell until General Motors opened in 1975. She worked for GM for 20 plus years before retiring.

Carolyn enjoyed gardening, playing Bingo, shopping and watching movies. She also bred chihuahua pups for several years. Back in her younger years, Carolyn loved to dance and she taught line dancing lessons as well.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, William “Bill” David Moore and Irene Moore Tankersley; sisters, Mary Knowlton, Ruth Nance, and Peggy Scott; brother, Larry Moore; son-in-law, Scott Terrell; and special niece, Trudy Breau.

Carolyn is survived by her daughters, Kristi Dodd May and husband Gaylon, Kim Renee Terrell; sister, Glenda Holloway; brothers, Terry Moore, Howard Moore; 4 grandchildren, Dustin Land, Katelyn, Kasey, and Garrett May; and 4 great-grandchildren; and other cherished family and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Harvest Assembly of God, West Monroe.
