Prayers go out to the Traweek family. I got to know Carlton when I was a rookie Firefighter Riding the streets at night with Major Nelson learning the streets of West Monroe, Carlton was full of stories and full of life. He will be missed.

I met Carlton when I was a child and the thing I remember most is he always smiled. He and my father were friends and raced together almost all my life. I shared time with Mr. Carlton and Mrs. Dorothy at bingo in the recent years. I am so sorry for your loss and will keep the family in my prayers. Brenda May Jackson

Recall with fond memories the many times I have had the pleasure to work with Carlton, while at the LSP shop, as a fellow police officer, and as a dirt track racer. The thoughts and prayers of our family go with you at this difficult time.

My Papaw is the wisest and strongest person I have ever met. I am absolutely honored to be one of the people that he shared that wisdom with. I will never forget the talks we enjoyed at the bingo hall. We had plenty of time to talk since he liked to arrive an hour early .: He told me of his personal struggles and how he had to think of his family before deciding how to solve his problems. He cared very much for his family, doing absolutely anything for them. I will carry the life lessons he taught me for the rest of my life and I can only pray that I become half as amazing of a person as he is. I am lucky to be his granddaughter and could not imagine anyone better for a papaw. I won't ever take the time we had for granted even though I wish we could have just a little more! I love you , Papaw! Tell Lonez I said, "Hi !" :
