Lee and Camille Adair left a message on December 10, 2015:
Dear Janet and FamilyYour sweet husband and good father to his girls was a wonderful, talented, Christian example for many to emulate. Allison and her family thought the world of Ken and felt he was "tops" as a vet. We agree. He always took time to help the helpless animals. We are praying for you and the family in these hard days. You have some precious memories to hopefully ease your sorrow. So wonderful to know he is enjoying Heaven and you will be reunited with him. In loving sympathy, Lee and Camille Adair
Dr. Robert Lewis left a message on December 2, 2015:
Though I have never met any of Ken's family, I would like to express to you my sorrow concerning your loss. I just learned of his passing tonight. Ken and I were classmates in veterinary school at LSU. I left for Texas upon graduation and, unfortunately, I don't think I ever saw Ken after graduation. I worked my way through school at Sherwood Forest Animal Hospital in Baton Rouge during my first 3 years. I knew I would be pursuing a career in large animal practice, so I elected to leave that practice for my final year, and Ken took my place there. I will always have fond memories of Ken. He was a great guy.

Sarah Moore Hicks left a message on November 9, 2015:
I wish to offer my deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Doctor White. Dr. White became one of my first employers at The Animal Hospital when I was only 15, with a dream of going to veterinary school. He was kind, encouraging, and a talented educator. In my four years working at the hospital, he taught me what it meant to be a well rounded veterinarian, from attention to the smallest details, to having the greatest compassion for your patients and clients. He was and will remain an inspiration to me and, I am certain, all who were privileged to work with him. Sincerely, Sarah Moore Hicks

Jennifer Bible left a message on November 9, 2015:
Dr. White was my family's favorite when it came to taking care of our 4 legged babies. He was compassionate and gentle. He was a man that radiated joy and lived in a way that you could tell he loved the Lord. My mom and I saw him at least once a week at one of the places we frequented for lunch. Corner Coffee Shop or Counter Culture. He always had a smile for us and always said hi. We even had the pleasure of meeting one of his beautiful daughters once. It is hard to believe that we will not get to see his smiling face or hear his kind words again, this side of Heaven, but I am comforted to know that his precious family will certainly see him again. My prayers will be with his beautiful family daily.

Nothing but good memories of Dr. White over the last 35 years of knowing him as our veterinarian at the Animal Hospital. Had numerous conversations with Dr. White and always left thinking that he was a great veterinarian, but an even finer human being. Never heard anything but positive, heartfelt comments about his passions, whether it was Veterinary medicine, LSU Athletics or life in general. I will truly miss Dr. White and send my prayers to his family and co-workers at the Animal Hospital.Sincerely,Fred Freeland

My heart is broken for my NO.2 son! I have loved and known him all his life and he was a man to be admired and respected. How I will miss him, especially during LSU games when he could come by to visit us at tailgating. He, from his LSU days, always called me Mama P and was often at my house.. He was a part of my family, and we are so sad and hurt for his family. I went to school with his parents, and his grandmother was a part of my life as my mother's dearest and closest friend, Aunt Margaret. Much love between the two White families. I am so sad.
