Funeral services for C. L. “Buddy” Roberts Jr., 74, of Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe, with Rev. Joe Solomon officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe. Buddy was born on June 27, 1937, in Monroe, LA and passed away on March 10, 2012, in Monroe, LA. He was a retired from La. DOTD District 5. He was a member of Lea Joyner United Methodist Church where he was a member of Newcomer Sunday School Class. He was a past Grand Chancellor in the Knights of Pythias. He is survived by his wife Mary Roberts, sister Ruby Jenkins, children Kevin Roberts, Stacey Whorton, Glenn Roberts, and Cyndi Weaver, grandchildren Matthew, Kera, Kristen, Billy, Chaz, Natalie, and Kyle, great grandchildren Cadence, Kaylynn, and Hayden, and his extended family the Newcomer Sunday School Class. Pallbearers will be coworkers of LA. DOTD District 5. Honorary Pallbearer will be the Knights of Pythias.
