Proverbs 20:6 says Many a man proclaims his own goodness, but a faithful man who can find?" This scripture tell us that faithful men are rare and hard to find. Everyone that had the pleasure of knowing Bro. Bruce knew they had found one. Faithful to his God, his family and his friends. Faithful to people that he didn’t know but that were his biblical neighbors. Examples being men in prison or someone in the hospital. He lived Matthew 25 faithfully and by this Bro. Bruce has the assurance found in Matthew 25:31-46 and in Revelation 2:10. “Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.” I can just see him putting it on and proclaiming “ it fits!!” Yes sir Bro. Bruce, it sure does.

Bro. Bruce will certainly be missed. He lived what he believed and was a great example that we should all strive to follow. He loved God and it was evident in everything he did. He had a servants heart which he passed on to his children. His legacy lives on in them and his wife Donna.

It’s difficult to make an all inclusive statement concerning a friend like Bruce (and Donna)! One main statement is “THEY WERE THERE”! Took a lot of effort and struggles but the “desire” and “want to” ALWAYS WON OUT. I never saw them enter the sanctuary without a smile! HAPPINESS IS JESUS! Neither Bruce nor Donna took advantage of “we’re sick and disabled to miss worshipping together with their POTC Family! I honor them both for their GREAT CHARACTER OF FAITHFULNESS. I have already missed them greatly and knew immediately it was an impossibility for them to be in church OR THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN. Thanks Bruce for your steadfastness and commitment to finish your race. You did it with much DIGNITY! Thank you Donna for living the statement “Til death do us part!” You have been unwavering! I am confident the PEACE THAT PASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING has already engulfed your family, home and your heart, Donna! Love y’all very much! Bruce, till we meet again which is SOON AND VERY SOON! ♥️🌹
