Funeral services for Mr. Bruce Traylor, 80, will be held at 2 pm, Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel, Farmerville with Bro. Benny Reppond and Bro. Cullen Smith officiating. Visitation will be from 5 pm to 7 pm Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home.Graveside services will be conducted by Bro. Benoit Holloway, Jr. at Conway Cemetery under direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home. A resident of Union Parish his entire life, Bruce was retired from LADOT with 30 years of service. He was a member of Conway Church of Christ. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Gordin M. Traylor, brother, Lincoln, sister Patsy, and his beloved grandson, Ryan McClure.An avid sportsman, Bruce was a proficient fisherman, hunter, and outdoorsman. He loved to spend time with his family and friends.Left to cherish his memory is his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Mildred, his daughter, Rhonda Collins and her husband Danny, grandsons, John and Thomas Collins, nieces Amy Farrar (Steve) their children Brad, Wendy, Shannon (Nikki), and son Ryland, and Misty Echols (Chris), and their children Morgan, Mallory, Calli and numerous other family members and friends who loved him and who he loved dearly.The family would like to thank Doctors Dean Stockstill, Scott Barron, Anne Bryan, Greg Sampognaro, and their staff for providing excellent medical care for Bruce throughout the years. The family would also like to thank LA Hospice for their care and compassion.Pallbearers will be Brad Farrar, Shannon Farrar, Richard Towns, Joey Reppond, Shannon Reppond, Glen Smith, Don Smith and Paul Smith.
