Brogan Gus Ables

On October 10, 2014 our precious, perfectly formed Brogan Gus Ables came into our lives. He took a few breaths, fought a hard battle and returned Home to our Heavenly Father above. We mourn the loss of our son, the missed opportunity of his life BUT have found amazing, overwhelming peace that passes our understanding that Gus has been made whole and well and that our family will be reunited one glorious day.A private graveside service was held Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 3:00 pm in the Mausoleum of Kilpatrick‚ Serenity Gardens Cemetery in West Monroe, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe and officiated by Rev. Tom Lowe.Gus is survived by his parents, Jason and Amanda Ables, twin brothers, Brock and Brody Ables of West Monroe, LA, grandparents, Ricky and Jeanette Ables of Oak Grove, LA and David and Barbara Williamson of West Monroe, LA. Great-grandparents are J.T. and Virginia Riley and Catherine Ables of Oak Grove, LA and Virgil and Jimmie Nell Williamson of Monroe, LA and special uncle and aunt, Donnie and Vikki Mixon of Monroe, LA along with numerous family relatives.Our very special thanks to Dr. Carmen Payne and the gifted nurses and staff of the St. Francis Hospital NICU.
