Funeral services for Bro. Gerald Brinkley, 80, of West Monroe will be held at 1:30 P.M., Thursday, September 22, 2022 at The Father’s House Worship Center with Mike McNeese and Mickey Cleveland officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until service time at the church under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
Bro. Gerald was born December 1, 1941 in Veazie, Louisiana and passed away September 20, 2022 in West Monroe. He served in the United States Army and graduated from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 1982. Bro. Brinkley was pastor of The Father’s House Worship Center for over 23 years. He was preceded in death by his wife in November 15, 2020 Inez G. Brinkley and his brother-in-law John Pierce.
Bro. Brinkley is survived by his sons Michael Brinkley, Roland Brinkley and wife Joey; daughters Hope Brinkley, Melissa Brinkley Ford and husband Rusty; sisters Barbara Ducote and husband Jim and Sandra Pierce; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Brinkley, Roland Brinkley, Rusty Ford, Mike McNeese, Gerald Ford and Trey Brinkley.
