Funeral Services for Mr. Brent Edward Franklin, 62, of Sterlington, La. will be held at 11:00 am Friday, September 3, 2021 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville, La.    Rev. Donald Reeves will officiate.  A visitation will be held for friends from 9:30 till 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.   Interment will be held at Liberty Cemetery in Linville, La.

Brent was born on January 19, 1959 in Monroe, La. and passed away on August 31, 2021 in Monroe, La.  He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Joe Franklin and grandparents Hansell and Vera Harrell.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife Lecia Haacks Franklin; mother, Marie Franklin; daughter, Lindsay Franklin and her fiancée Philip Thompson; grandchildren, Keylan Sandidge, Paizley Sandidge, Kambrey Franklin, and Hendersyn Thompson; sisters, Kathy Ward (Harrell) and Lindy Harris (Randy). Brent is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Brent was a retired welder and member of First Baptist Church in West Monroe, La.  He enjoyed hunting and the outdoors but mostly loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Rheo Stewart, Lee Brantley, Stevie Pace, Landon Haacks, Josh Ward, and Jordan Stewart.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Harrell Ward, Randy Harris and Eugene Norman.

Memorials may be made to the Liberty/Linville Cemetery fund.
