Brenda L. Schwab, 70 of Calhoun, passed away on June 12, 2021 in Monroe, Louisiana. She was born on July 3, 1950 to the late John Perry and Velma Lee Smith Perry Parton.

Brenda was a licensed daycare provider for many years; loving the children as her own, many of them calling her Aunt B. After retirement from the daycare, she opened up Alpine Taxi Service with her late husband, Paul Schwab, in Gaylord, Michigan. She then made her way to Louisiana to reside in Calhoun. Brenda loved listening to gospel and older country music. She loved the Lord and her family. Brenda was an artist who loved to draw and paint. She also enjoyed crafting, crocheting, singing, playing Facebook games. Brenda had a big heart and genuinely cared about others, who she put before herself. Brenda loved cardinals and loved to cook. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Schwab; mother, Velma Parton; father, John Perry; step-father, M.T. Parton.

Brenda is survived by her children, Mindy Davis and Heath Schwab; sisters, Mary Jolene Thomas and Marsha Howton (John); four grandchildren with one on the way, Whitney Davis, Mariah Schwab, James Daniel “J.D.” Nichols, and Danielle Schwab; In addition, there are several step-children, step-grandchildren and many other cherished family and friends.
