Funeral service for Mrs. Brenda Kay Thomas Curry, 70 of Dubach, LA will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Culbertson Baptist Church with Bro. Scott Jennings, assisted by Bro. Kelly Coleman officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:00 am. to service time at the church. Interment will follow in Culbertson Cemetery under direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville, LA.

Brenda was born on November 30, 1950 in Farmerville, LA and passed away on October 18, 2021 in Ruston, LA. She was a graduate of Farmerville High School and retired from Preaus Motor Company in Farmerville as secretary and title clerk after many years. She was a faithful member of Culbertson Baptist Church and the word Christian was the meaning of “Child of God” and Brenda carried that well in her walk in life.  She was preceded in death by her parents J.B. and Christine Dean Thomas, son Thomas Christopher Curry, and Andy’s parents Marion and  Louise Brothers Curry.

Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of 49 years, Andrew Eugene Curry, sisters Shirley Jean Sharp, Patsy Ruth Alford, Carol Ann Rodgers (Fred) and Sue Albritton (Robin), sister-in-law Cindy Curry Pelton (Randy), and brother-in-law James M. Curry, honorary grandson Kayden Littleton.

Pallbearers will be Fred Rodgers, Randy Pelton, Robin Albritton, James Curry, Benji Albritton, and James Ray Alford.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Randy Littleton, Barry Burch, Ricky Thomas, Freddy Lee Rodgers.

Memorials may be made to the Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency.
