Brandon Douglas Barrett Kilpatrick Funeral Home Ruston, LA Funeral services for Brandon Douglas Barrett, age 25, of Ruston will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, August 26, 2012 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. Officiating the service will be Rev. Brad Jones. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Choudrant under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. Brandon was born November 8, 1986 and passed away August 23, 2012. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Jack Nelson Barrett, Sr., Margaret Barrett; and Louis Douglas Britt. Brandon was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed his race cars, four wheelers and his good food. He is survived by his parents: Terri Gary Kevin of Burleson, TX; Jack Barrett, JR. Jeannie of Bossier City, LA; siblings: Joey Roberts, David Barrett, Melissa Winston, K.T. Adams, Meagan Gary, Jeremy Tomlin, Wendy Raines and Lee Raines; grandmother: Mary Jeniffer Pruitt Lonnie of Arlington, TX; aunts and uncles: Angel Stewart Doug of Arlington, TX, Felicia Fairbanks Gary of Houston, TX, Max Barrett and Mary Letta Shepherd Jim both of Ruston, LA, numerous cousins and other family and friends. Pallbearers will be Stetson Perkins, Ben Willis, Jarred Mallard, Andrew Garrison, Chad Thompson, Richie Patton, Justin Wade and Kane White. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ricky White, Riley Rushing, Gene Posey, Jonathan Wheelis, Mike Bradshaw, Justin Tolar, Aaron Pylant, Patrick Prothro, Chase Barrett, and Jason Barrett. So sorry for the tremendous loss of such a bright star. I met Brandon through friends from four wheeler riding and he was always smiling! It was so very contagious, you couldn't help but smile with him. My heart and prayers go out to his family and friends.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know hearing it does not help. I am praying for your family and confident that God will see you all through this difficult time. One day at a time, you will never get over your loss you just learn to live with it. I DO know that from the loss of my son.

Terri, I am so sorry to hear about Brandon. Sean had called to let me know about Brandon passing away. Just know my thoughts and prayers are with you and Jack. May GOD be with you and Jack through this most difficult time and days ahead. Brandon was a wonderful boy and from what I have read he had grown into a wonderful and loving man. I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT BRANDON. HE WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE CUSTOMERS. ALWAYS LAUGHING AND JOKING WITH ME EVERYTIME WE TALKED. SUCH A SWEETHEART. I WILL MISS HIM.

Teri and Jack and all of your family..my love and prayers are with you so sorry for your loss.

I remember Brandon as a baby when Teri and I were in school at Tech. His adorable smile and sweet disposition were such a big part of his entire life both as a child and as he grew into a young adult. I have no words to comfort you but please know that I am thinking of each of you and praying for you in the days and weeks ahead.

Brandon will surely be missed by all that knew and loved him. His smile as well as his qick wit will fondly be rembered by all. Prayers and hugs to all of the friends and family during this great time of sorrow.

Jack & Terri, we are very sorry for your loss, we can only imagine what you are going through. One thing for sure, Brandon is in a better place, where he is suffering no more pain. We will all surely miss Brandon.The best memory we will always have is B's comments on facebook, they would always bring laughter no matter what.

Brandon was such an important part of my life. He was caring, loving, and had a very warm heart. He made me feel like I was so special. I will never ever forget how he made me feel and will miss and love him forever. He was truly a one of a kind.

Brandon was an exceptional young man whom my family loved dearly. My husband and I thought of him as a son and my daughters thought of him as there brother. I met Brandon a couple of times out and about with some of my friends and he was so fun and out going. He was loved my many and my heart goes out to his family and friends. Fly High Brandon

Brandon was a very special person! He had been great friends with my fianc√É¬© Wade Upshaw. I have been able to get to know him, and laugh with him for the past 4 years. He had a way of making everything turn into a joke or be funny. He was always the life of the party! I feel special to have gotten to know him and be his friend! He will be truly missed and loved forever!

We loved Brandon the moment he came to our first family dinner. My Aunt Karen loved him like he was one of her own. This loss has affected our entire family. The barber shop won't be the same with out his visits. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.
