Boyd Albritton Boyd Albritton, 101, of Farmerville, LA was born on February 16, 1911, and entered into Heavens gates on January 19, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 21, 2013 at the Ward Chapel Church of Christ in Farmerville with Brother Larry White officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the church just prior to the service. Mr. Albritton was married to the late Grace Deville Albritton for 62 years. He was preceded in death by his parents-Johnny Albritton and Mattie Cole Albritton; his sons- Johnny Boyd Albritton and Donald Albritton; and his nine siblings. He is survived by his son-Billy Albritton and daughter-Boyce Ann Garrison. He is also survived by seven grandchildren: Mona Albritton, Dennis Albritton, Tim Albritton, Pamala Albritton, Linda Bunn, Michael Garrison, and Casey Craig; and ten great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Albritton was a life-time resident of Union Parish. He retired from Commercial Solvent in 1971 and became a Union Parish tree farmer. Mr. Albritton was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved shooting hoops. He remained an active outdoorsman all his life. He was a longtime member and deacon at Ward Chapel Church of Christ. Pallbearers will be Tim Albritton, Zach Albritton, Trent Albritton, David Albritton, Gary Albritton and Dennis Albritton. Honorary pallbearers will be Dan Albritton and Cecil Brown.
