Graveside services for Bobby L. Kemp, 83, of Sterlington are 10:00 A.M. on Monday, July ^11th, 2016, at Oakland Cemetery in Monticello, AR, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, with Rev. Larry Hibbard officiating.Bobby passed away on Friday, July 8, 2016 at St. Francis Medical Center.Bobby was a retired plant superintendent from Mississippi River Transmission Company. He was a member of the U.S. Navy and served our country during the Korean Conflict.Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and a sister. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Edith Marshall Kemp; sons, Rex Kemp and wife Amy, Scott Kemp and wife Kathy, and Steve Kemp and wife Donna; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.In lieu of flowers, send donations to First Baptist Church of Sterlington.Kilpatrick Funeral HomeMonroe, La

My condolences to the family. When the enemy death strikes, it leaves us with pain and feelings that are difficult to process. May you be comforted in knowing that God (Psalms 83:18) can give you that Peace of God that surpasses all understanding when you draw close to him in prayers daily.

My deepest condolences to everyone affected by this untimely loss. He was always kind to me whenever I saw him, and I wish I could be there now. May he rest in peace.

Edith and family, please accept our heart felt sorrow and condolences for the passing of Bobby - he was indeed one of our favorite connections to the southland. We certainly appreciate the opportunity to visit a couple of years ago and will remember you both in our fond thoughts and prayers.
