Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Bonnett, age 81, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 16, 2012 in the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Rev. Butch Pilcher and Rev. Marvin Downs will officiate. Interment to follow at St. Paschal's Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Mr. Bonnett was born February 18, 1931 in Choudrant, LA and passed away June 13, 2012 in West Monroe. Mr. Bonnett was a milkman for 48 years and was a member of The Assembly. Mr. Bonnett is survived by his wife, Bobbye Bonnett; sister, Billie Jean Madsen; three sons, Bruce Bonnett and wife, Debbie, Denny Bonnett and wife, Charla, Coby Bonnett and wife, Shelia; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jared Albritton, Eric Hotard, John McBride, Ernest Caples, Richard Thomas and Clint Caldwell. The family would like to send a special thanks to St. Joseph Hospice Staff. Visitation will be held Friday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

I worked along side Bobby for over 6 years while he was a milkman in Bawcomville. We used to meet up each Monday and Thursday morning aroud 3 am at Riser school. He'd give me a chocolate milk and I'd give him a loaf of Holsum Bread. They don't make 'em like Mr. Bobby anymore. He will be missed.
