Andy and family, I am so sorry for your loss. The coziest place to hang out in college was in Ms. Bobby’s living room next to the wood burning stove. She was so genuine and sweet to be around. Wonderful memories.

Bobby Hawthorne was one of the sweetest ladies that I ever knew! Pete and I loved her very much and we’ll miss her for those hugs and big laugh...and we had some good laughs! She’d call and say, “I’m pulling up to your house with something for y’all, but I’m not getting out ‘cause I’ve got on my duster so come out here! We’d go out and she’d been baking, and yep...she’d hand us some fresh baked bread or a cake! She was a giver! Heaven has gained a jewel of the finest quality. Bobby was “one of a kind,”...a rare jewel. Prayers for Andy and Charla; she certainly loved you two.

We were first cousins and most of my life was spent with Bobby, Mildred Aunt Pearl. We had great summers together and we kept in touch with each other. I saw her every time I visited. She was just a wonderful person and I know the Lord loved her as much as she loved him.

Ms. Bobby was a wonderful lady, I remember my mother speaking so highly of her. I believe she probably helped our family when my grandmother was in the last stages of her life. I know she did many kind things for a lot of people. May this precious lady Rest In Peace. Jeannie Sinclair Kennedy

I am so sad of the passing of this beautiful lady, but to know she is rejoicing with her sisters gives me comfort. She always came and checked on mom and when she couldn't come she called. Gonna miss her sweet face. RIP, till we meet again.

Andy & Charla - We are sad for the loss of our dear friend, Bobby! We hold tight the precious memories we built over the years, laughing together, praying together, praying for one another and worshipping together. Bobby lived by the slogan “a closed hand can neither give nor receive”. She gave NOT TO RECEIVE, but from her heart she reached to others baking, cooking and delivering goodies from her warm and loving kitchen. Today, SHE RECEIVES - not from others but from HER GOD! She balanced many books in her lifetime HONESTLY! Today, she and God have drawn the double lines and the BOOKS ARE BALANCED! Bobby you are already missed, but we are so thankful you have completed your journey and the AUDIT is WELL DONE!
