Bobbie Dell Hayden of Monroe, La a loving wife, sister, mother, Mimi and friend passed away peacefully on Sunday March 13, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was born Feb 08, 1936 in Rayville, Louisiana, attended Andrews School in the Warsaw community of Madison Parish, and graduated from Crowville High School in 1953. One of her greatest pleasures was assisting and encouraging students in the Registrar's office at NLU (ULM) and in the Biomedical Engineering department at Louisiana Tech.She was preceded in death by her parents, Oran and Aline Lewis of Madison Parish. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, William R. Hayden, who gave her a lifetime of happiness, joy and love in four short years; her brother Jerry D. Lewis and wife Patsy of Monroe, LA; her children, Theresa Hendrix and husband Dr. Ricky Hendrix of Winnfield, La, Dr. Cynthia Cupit Swenson of Isle of Palms, SC, Kevin Cupit and wife Kellye of Mims, FL; four granddaughters, Sarah Mason and Husband Matt of Mesa, Arizona, Elizabeth Hendrix and Holly Hendrix of Winnfield, LA, and Nana Akosua of Isle of Palms, SC; two great grandchildren, Joseph and Lilly Mason of Mesa, Arizona; Stepchildren Debbie and her husband Mike Carmichael of Columbia, LA, LaWanda and her husband George Brown of Bastrop, LA; and Sammy Hayden and Wife Donna of Haynesville, LA; Nephews, Nieces and a host of friends.Visitation will be held at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, 1200 Lamy Lane Monroe, LA, Wednesday, March 16, 2016 from 5-8 pm with a graveside service at Mulhearn Memorial Park on Thursday, March 17 at 1 p.m.Bobbie loved people, especially her family, and she touched the hearts of everyone she met.
