Funeral services for Bobbie Mae Chapman, age 89 of Rocky Branch, will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 10 A.M. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Rocky Branch, LA. Rev. Otis Lenoir will officiate with burial to follow in the Rocky Branch Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville, LA.
Bobbie was born in Franklin Parish on December 29, 1932 and passed away in Farmerville on May 13, 2022. She attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church for many years where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She also enjoyed arts and crafts of all types, fishing and the outdoors, but most of all, she loved her family and spending time with them. Preceding her in death were her parents, Willie and Bob Robinson; husband, Gene Chapman; son, Dean Chapman; siblings, Betty Sue Fautheree, Anna Cassel, Johnny Robinson, Barbara Jane, and Tammy Robinson; and grandson, Dustin Carter.
Bobbie Mae Chapman is survived by her children: Eugene Chapman (Lisa); Jackie Chapman; James (Bimbo) Chapman (Vanessa); Regina (Sissy) Carter (Rick); 11 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 15 great great grandchildren; siblings: DeWitt Robinson; Pat Fender; Faye Sullivan; Jean Tullos; Ed Robinson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Randall Chapman, Casey Chapman, John Chapman, Ryan Chapman, Lance Chapman, and Greg Cox.
Honorary pallbearers will be Robbie Chapman, Craig Edwards, Austin Cox, Andrew Cox, Luke Alexander, Keigan Head, Jayden Mayfield, and Brett Carter.
Visitation will be held Thursday morning from 8:30 – 10:00 A.M. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Rocky Branch, LA.
