Bob Cook Minter Kilpatrick Funeral Home Ruston, LA Graveside services for Mr. Bob Cook Minter a lifelong resident of Bernice, LA will be held Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Bernice City Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. Mr. Minter was born April 4, 1943 and passed away May 16, 2013 at the Northwest War Veterans Home in Bossier City. Mr. Minter was a member of First Baptist Church of Bernice. He served in the United States Army as Communications Specialist and was stationed in Germany. He graduated High School from Acadia Baptist Academy in Eunice, LA. He is survived by sister: Callie M. Sexton of Shreveport; niece: Rachel Penwell and husband Kevin of Shreveport; great niece and nephew: Maddie and Sawyer Penwell; nephew: Patrick Sexton of Slidell; daughter: Jill Minter of Rosendale, N.Y.; grandchildren: Brannon, Logan, and Bradford McClendon; and best friend: William Wilson of Spearsville, LA. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Acadia Baptist Center in Eunice, LA; or the First Baptist Church in Bernice.
