Graveside services for Blondell Barnes Doolittle of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 AM Friday July 31, 2020 Hasley Cemetery Pavillion- West Monroe, LA, with Dr. Craig West officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home- West Monroe, LA.
Ms. Doolittle was born November 15, 1939 in Franklin Parish, LA and passed from this life on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at her home in West Monroe at the age of 80.
Ms. Doolittle was a member of First West Church in West Monroe. She loved being a homemaker, working in her yard and traveling. She especially loved her little dog, a Yorkie named Bear. Ms. Doolittle is preceded in death by her husbands, Robert “Bobby” Barnes and Raymond Doolittle; her parents, Robert and Alma Milby; her brothers, Alton Milby, J L Milby, Billy Ray Milby, Robert “Buck” Milby; grandson, Matthew Barnes; and her precious dog, Susie.
Ms. Doolittle is survived by her son, Ricky Barnes and wife Connie; daughter, Rita Barnes Dispenza and husband George; grandsons, Jeremy Dispenza and wife Liz, Joel Dispenza and wife Jessica, Jonathan Barnes and wife Kristen, Kenda Soileau and husband Tyler; great-grandchildren, Jaycee Dispenza, Andrew Dispenza, Reid Barnes and Hayes Barnes; step-children, Gary Doolittle, Rhonda Whittington, Pamela Doolittle Wall and Jennifer Doolittle Oglesby; sister, Mary Hawthorne and husband Lynn and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Joel Dispenza, Jonathan Barnes, Pete Dispenza, Brandon Earl, Chris Hill and Bassel Maghoub.
