Carolyn R. Dehart left a message on January 23, 2020:
Sister Bettye Baugh was one of my dearest friends from the time I met her at Luna Assembly of God Church in July of 1996. She and Brother Marshall were always some of the finest people I’ve ever known. I will always remember them fondly and while I’ll feel a void in my life without being able to visit or talk with her on the phone, I’m thankful that she is in heaven now, reunited with her beloved husband, parents, and others who had gone on before her. Her Savior and her family were the loves of her life. I’m so grateful for all the years I am able to call her my friend. She will be missed so much by all who knew and loved her. I’m praying for all of her family and friends to receive the comfort that only God can provide during this time of mourning and beyond. I love you, Lady Bug! I’ll miss you more than you can ever know. Tell Brother Marshall that The Deharts say hello!

Ms. Bettye and Mr. Marshall were great folks and were everpresent at so many Community gatherings, whether it be showing support for anything Pinecrest, church gatherings or Benefit suppers. Ms. Bettye was always so kind... She worked with both my Grandfather (LD Jackson) and my father in law (John Hogard) in Plant 47 for eons... She will be greatly missed in the community for sure! Prayers for her family...
