Graveside services for Ms. Betty Ray Osbon, 78, of West Monroe, LA will be held at Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe, LA with Brother Louis Bartet officiating, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home.
Ms. Osbon was born on February 28, 1942 in Delhi, LA and passed from this earth on April 24, 2020 in West Monroe, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tracy and Lurline Ray, and by her brothers, Clyde, Shelby, Donald, Thomas Eugene, Herman and Sherman Ray. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James David Osbon.
Survivors include her son, James Edward Osbon and wife Stacy, daughter, Rebecca Osbon Labat and husband Joe, and her 5 grandchildren, Victoria and Nicholas Osbon, Alyssa, Samantha and Luke Labat and her siblings Julius Ray and wife Kay, Harold Ray and wife Lottie, and Ronald Ray and wife Mary, sister-in-law Helen Ray and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ms. Osbon loved spending time with her grandchildren and her friends playing Pokeno, bunko, and bingo. She was a life-long member of Peniel Baptist Church.
Special thanks to the staff of Ridgecrest Nursing Home and Rehab Center in West Monroe for taking such good care of Ms. Betty, especially nurses Jamie and Kayla, and CNA Cynthia. Also special thanks to her beloved niece and her husband, Challana and Dino Dean, for taking her into their home and hearts for the past 2 years.
