Funeral services for Betty Jo Roberts Foster, 78, formerly of Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Swartz First Assembly of God Church in Swartz, LA with Rev. Gerald Lewis officiating. Graveside services will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park, Monroe, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe. Betty Jo was born in Monroe, La on November 25, 1934 and passed away in Picayune, Ms on July 29, 2013. Betty was known to many as “Miss Betty”. She cared for little ones in her home for over twenty years. Betty was a member of Swartz First Assembly of God Church and was a Mary Kay beauty Consultant. She loved her family, her church, baking and sewing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest T. “Bill Joe” Foster. Betty is survived by two of her siblings, Jim Roberts Martha and Peggy Hammond; her children, Dwaine Foster Renee, John Foster Kathy, Susan Sikut Jeffrey, and Donna Foster; grandchildren, Keith Foster Michelle, Kristen Head Toby, Katy Ganey Mark, Larry Foster Becky, Lee Massey Carol, Jared Massey Magen, Lauren Massey Lucas and Janna Massey; great-grandchildren, Kelsey Foster, Abigail Head, Douglas, David and Dean Ganey, Ram and Bruin Foster, Layla, Noah Christopher Massey, Henry Carson Massey, Christopher Logan Massey and Neala Suhre; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, August 2, 2013 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe, LA.
