Betty Grafton Taylor, 80, of Monroe, LA (formerly of Ruston), passed away August 26, 2017 in Monroe. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in Ruston, LA. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Ruston. Visitation will be 1:00 PM until the service on Thursday, August 31, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home.Betty was born to William F. and Eunice Butler Grafton of Bernice, LA on June 13, 1937 in Monroe, LA. She worked at the Department of Motor Vehicles in Ruston, advancing to Office Manager before her retirement in 1997.Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William L. Taylor; her sister, Martha Biossat; and daughter, Michelle Gouthiere. Survivors include daughters: Mignon Michaud Spearman (Robert) of Monroe, LA and Martha Michaud Murrell (Robert) of Minden, LA; brother: Ray Tabor, Sr. (Dottie) of Keithville, LA; 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.Condolences may be left to the family at www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.com
