Graveside services for Berneice Lowery will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Edlin Cemetery, Stony Point Community near Houston, Arkansas under the care of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
Berneice was born August 7, 1935 in Houston, Arkansas and passed away January 10, 2023 in West Monroe. In addition to her parents Martin Ernest and Myrtle (Kennedy) Marlow, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond A. Lowery; son Toy Ted Humphreys, Jr.; sisters Willie Catherine Grady and Jeanetta M. Grady.
Berneice loved the Lord, family and her dogs. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from NLU in 1971 and MSW from UALR in 1977. Berneice enjoyed flea marketing and collecting her found “treasures”, she loved gardening, china painting and porcelain doll making which brought her great pleasure in addition to her love of jewelry.
Berneice is survived by her children Gail Beasley and husband Bob and Jan Bearden and husband Curtis; grandchildren Ashley Bearden, Shelly (Marc) Florman, Brandon (Donna) Bearden and Curtis (Cristal) Bearden, Jr.; 8 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; brother Charles (Lois) Marlow and brother-in-law Dennis Grady.
