To all the Donner family, we send our deepest sympathy! It was our pleasure to have met Mr. Donner and having our son become part of the Donner family. I know you have many fond memories of Mr. Donner and he will be missed dearly. I only talked with him a few times and found him to be quite comical. I even have a few fond memories of my own to cherish. Mr. Donner was a fine gentleman, one thing I will always remember. Just lean on those fond memories and the peace of God and know there will be no more suffering for Mr. Donner. His children are a witness to his honor, by the way you live your lives, and speaking from personal experience, the way you have allowed our son to be a part of your family and even excepting us and showing love to us , a trait that is taught by great parents.
