Funeral services for Benjamin D. Sirmon, 3, of Monroe, will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, February 27, 2015 at Jesus the Good Shepherd Church in Monroe with Father Keith Garvin officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow services at Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens in West Monroe, LA.Benjamin was born on February 16, 2012 in New Orleans, LA and passed away on February 23, 2015 in Monroe, LA. Even though Benjamin stay with us was brief, he was able to touch many lives with his amazing love for people and life. Because of this, he gained support to build a playground in Luling, LA where children of all abilities could play together, and was busy rallying support to raise funds for another playground in West Monroe, LA. He will be forever missed and his legacy will live on with his great accomplishments.He is survived by his parents, K. C. and Hillary Sirmon; sisters, Lennon and Isla; brother, Rush; grandparents, Joe and Towanda Willrodt of Hornbeck, LA and Bill and Edie Sirmon of Luling, LA; and extended family.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the West Monroe Civitan Smiles Park at www.wmcivitan.com. Checks may be made payable to SI FPO West Monroe Smiles Park, WM Civitan Club, P.O. Box 753, West Monroe, LA 71294.Pallbearers will be: William Sirmon, Anderson Sirmon, Quin Sirmon, and Christopher Toms.
