Funeral services for Ben H. Nordan, 93, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at The Pentecostals of the Twin Cities. Pastor Emeritus Fred Foster, Pastor Mark Foster, Reverend Jimmy Masters, and Reverend Danny Chance will be officiating. Interment will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA. Mr. Nordan was born August 7, 1918 in Gilberttown, AL and passed away Friday, November 25, 2011 at his home in West Monroe. He worked for Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company for 36 years. Ben loved his church and was a member since 1943. He also loved his hunting when he was able. Mr. Nordan is preceded in death by his parents Mr. and Mrs. James Oliver Nordan; four brothers; and two sisters. Survivors include his wife Lottie Nordan; son Bobby Nordan; and brother Thurman Nordan; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; four step grandchildren; and four step great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday at The Pentecostals of the Twin Cities. Family wishes to thank Louisiana Hospice for their loving care of Mr. Nordan.
