Beau Christopher Becton, 39, born on November 14, 1984, passed away on May 24, 2024. A graduate of West Monroe High School and also attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe, Beau’s life was marked by his unwavering dedication to his family, his faith, and his unmatched personality. Beau lived for “God, Family and Church” in which he learned from a young age and instilled the same in his kids.
Beau leaves behind three beautiful children, Steele, Arrow, and Brave, who were the light of his life, and their mother, Lindsey Becton. His greatest joy was spending time with his children, whom he loved beyond words. Above all, Beau cherished his personal relationship with the Lord, having rededicated his life through baptism in February 2020. He was also able to baptize his oldest son Steele in April of 2021.
Beau never met a stranger, his stories and laughter and dancing could brighten anyone’s day. His love for people was evident in his ability to connect with everyone he met. Beau was devoted to his friends and always made time for them. Beau loved baseball, basketball, and football, as he was an avid sports fan. His first word was fittingly “touchdown,” reflecting his lifelong passion for sports. He was all about the stats. Additionally, he was a gifted cook who could create any meal from scratch. He always wanted to attend culinary school. Beau also loved to make and build things, especially for his kids, as he was a professional woodworker.
One of Beau’s favorite things to say to his children was, “Love God and make somebody smile.” This simple advice shows the love and joy he shared with his family and the world.
