Dear Family, I had the honor of knowing Mrs. Brister in Delhi at the Deerfield Nursing and Rehab Center there. She was a precious lady and I really enjoyed visiting with her. She loved me playing the piano there and I played a favorite song of hers one time. The Great Speckled Bird. I really loved visiting with her. She was such a blessing to me and I will miss seeing her there. My prayers are with you all.

Sister Brister is my best friends grandma, my sister in christ. My most memorable time with sister Brister was a time I wore shorts to her house lol. In the nicest but firm way she explained to me my worth and asked that the next I come, come dressed lol. I never forgot that. She opened my eyes. Love her for it.

My sweet aunt Bea, wow words are not enough. But here is one of a million. She had to hide the baby aspirin cause I would eat them. And she would make me the most wonderful grits with bacon. Aunt Bea was always a tower of strength and will never be forgotten. Her prayers will last for all of eternity
