Funeral services for Barrett Fisher will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, July 30, 2018 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Rev. Michael Stravato and Tommy Lindsay will officiate. Interment will follow at Columbia Hill Cemetery, Columbia, LA. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.Barrett was born December 31, 1941 in Columbia, LA and passed away July 26, 2018 in Farmerville, LA. He was insurance salesman for Hogan Agency West Monroe for 25 years. Barrett served in the United States Navy and retired from the U.S. Naval Reserve with the rank of Commander. He was a member of Crossroads Church of Christ. Barrett was preceded in death by his father, Elphin Fisher and mother, Katheryn Barrett Fisher; son, Cam Barrett Fisher; brother, Jimmy Lee Fisher.Barrett is survived by his wife of 54 years, Barbara Hollis Fisher; daughter, Susan Anding and husband Greg; son, David Fisher and wife Norma; grandson, Dakota Fisher; granddaughter, Taelyn Fisher; step-granddaughter, Alisha Sepulveda and step-grandson, Jacob Alderman; sisters, Sylvia Zielinski and husband Wayne; Betty Price and husband Glenn; and brother-in-law, Jerry Hollis and wife, Becky.Pallbearers will be David Fisher, Dakota Fisher, Greg Anding and George Aulds.
