Graveside services for Barbara Tamplain will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Greenwood Cemetery, Ruston, under the direction and care of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Ruston.

Barbara Lou Taylor Tamplain was born on September 10, 1952 in Ruston, LA. She passed away at the age of 69, a resident of Lutcher, LA; on November 29, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones.

Barbara was and is the only child of Willis Hayes Taylor Jr. She was a loving and devoted mother to Luke & Helen. She enjoyed 30+ years in the medical field as a Registered Nurse. Barbara always took care of others before herself. She enjoyed reading, knitting, playing board and card games, drawing, painting, and taking care of her dog, Sweetie.

She was preceded in death by her Father Willis Hayes Taylor Jr.; Mother Beulah Estelle Morgan Taylor; Grandparents Willis Hopkins Taylor Sr. & Hazel Lela Colvin Taylor; her Aunt Gloria Louise Taylor and Stepmother Helen Mae Taylor.

She is survived by her Son, Luke Michael Tamplain; Daughter, Helen Michelle Borne; Son-in-law, Justin Paul Borne; Step-grandson, Cameron Joseph Borne; and her Aunt, Cynthia Taylor Duck.
