Dear Lynn and family, I am sorry for your loss. Mrs Lassiter was an outstanding teacher and fed my love of learning. But she was always “a lady”. I can only imagine how many lives she impacted positively. What an honor to have her as your mother. Prayers are with you during this flying of grief

Dear Lynn and Clay, I was thinking about your mom Barbara on Thursday. I did not know she was in Covington with Lynn. I loved her and Nell as dear friends and teaching buddies! I taught for your mom one semester at Lee in the 60's when she took a sabbatical. They both helped me so much in my early teaching career and our friendship continued in church and a teacher sorority. It is hard to ever give up our parents but she is enjoying Heaven with Jesus, Nell, your dad , Skinner and other loved ones! May the Lord comfort your hearts and give you that special peace. The wonderful promise you have is you will see her again in HEAVEN. IN SYMPATHY, CAMILLE AND LEE ADAIR
