Barbara Sue Pace, 88, was born on October 24, 1935 in Huttig, Arkansas and passed away at her home in Marion, Louisiana on October 16, 2024. She was a member of Dean Baptist Church. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 24 at 11:00 a.m. at Liberty-Linville Cemetery with Bro. Bubba Hoggatt officiating under the direction and care of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Pace, Jr.; parents, Woodie E. Smith and Minnie B. Freeman Smith; and son, Sammie Pace.

She is survived by her children, Kenneth Pace (Iris) of Carthage, Texas, Stevie Pace (Sue) of Farmerville, Louisiana, and Sue Lynn Pace Perodeau (Bob) of Marion; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Theresa Pace; and loving friends and extended family.

Pallbearers will be Pete Murphy, Neal Pace, Rob Perodeau, Brad Bridges, Randy Harris, and Russell Roberson.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Stockstill and staff for the love and care shown to Barbara, as well as April Fife for being a loving caregiver.

Memorials may be made to the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery Fund in Linville, Louisiana.
