Barbara Manning was born March 25, 1935 in Anthony, Kansas and passed away January 7, 2022 in West Monroe. She was a Past Worthy Grand Matron for Eros #295 Chapter in Eros, Louisiana, a Sunday school teacher, a notary, finished top of her class at Dale Carnegie, and truly had a love for animals.

Barbara was preceded in death by her son, Steven Ray Black; parents Roland Baggott and Genava Rorex Baggott; father of her children, Thomas R. Black; sister, Patricia Watson and brother-in-law, James (Buck) Watson.

Barbara is survived by her son, Daniel R. Black and wife Jane; daughter, Brenda Black; grandson, Cory S. Black; special niece, Robin Brown and husband Dr. Scott Brown; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great- nephews and other cherished family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society.
